Today rather than go to the DMV to exchange my license- I decided to stay home and consume copious amounts of coffee and cheese while I altered these floral grandma shorts into something I could use. Bunched the hem, took in the waist, added a zipper and a faux leather pocket (which was actually a sleeve in its first life!) It's reversible and sits about mid-waist. This is the result:
